Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck's mission is to help children and young adults ages 6-21 with both physical and developmental disabilities achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education in a summer-time environment.

In a structured, compassionate environment, the children engage in a number of activities designed to broaden their horizons.

All people, regardless of ability level, have the right to opportunities found in the world around them. Individuals with disabilities, as well as their families, should experience year-round recreational and respite care activities in a camp setting. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck of New York provides this needed service to all. The camp provides opportunities for social and personal growth within a supportive environment. Campers learn to try a variety of creative and challenging activities and experience success. Campers develop enhanced self-esteem which carries over to work, home, or school environments

Jonny Coffin is a guitar player, writer, surfer, designer, and inventor. While playing and touring with his band many years ago, he visualized a concept for an unusual shaped case that would incorporate his style, while maintaining functionality and durability. He conceived of a case possessing a shape that not only fit the outline of the guitar, but also fit a deeper, darker image. He sat down and began to sketch out a few concepts, and soon, he concluded that the Coffin shape provided the outline and the image he desired

Since 1989, DR HandMade Strings has been dedicated to making wonderful sounding handmade strings. The idea is that great sound inspires a musician to play better and longer, while enjoying themselves even more.

Many of us at DR HandMade Strings are players. It is from our own playing experience, our own obsession with music, as well as the highly valued input from many players worldwide that encourage us at DR to continually strive and increase the range of sounds available to guitar and bass players. We are especially grateful to those players who let us know they can hear, feel, and appreciate the difference. DR makes a diverse range of types and models of strings because each one does clearly provide a different sound and feel for the many styles of playing and players.
